The original "Power In Praise" was started in the late summer of 1974 with the former members of Revelation's Revolution Warren & Linda and Gordon and Lynne Baker along with Philip and Karen Whatley. This group produced an album "Walking On Water" and toured Eastern Canada in the fall of 1976 and went on a Western Canada tour in the summer of 1977.
The group changed again in the fall of 1977 as Warren and Linda teamed with Irma Dyck and Don Cuthbert to perform at various Churches promoting the ministry of Youth For Christ as Warren was interning in the Ministry through the school year 1977-1978.
In the spring of 1978, Irma and Don decided to go on to other opportunities and Warren and Linda called on the Cowiesons to join with them in what was to become one of the premier Praise and Worship groups in Manitoba. The Brackens and the Cowiesons had been singing together prior to this collaboration since the late 1960's
Our almost 40 year Ministry under the banner of "Power In Praise" has been full of music, ministry, and miracles.
